Gamer's POV on age expectancy for team recruiters

In today's world of gaming and even maybe before, teams have asked for people to join their team with certain requirements. I understand fully that games have evolved into more than just fun and have expanded to competition. To look on one aspect, it would be the most controversial, age. If you've looked for a team you may notice that they are usually accepting only 17+ or even 18+ players. It's hard for a 14 year old to get a team anymore. Most teams don't just jump into the competitive gaming scene and get to, referring to CAL, CAL Invite in one season. It takes awhile for a team to develop as a whole. Team recruiters need to recruit broadly and look for that needle in a hay stack. Yes, it will take awhile but not everyone above 17 is mature. There will be that one person that you see fulfills all the requirements except that most important one, maturity. So, to all the team recruiters out there, don't ask for members so narrowly unless you are an already professional team, people develop in many different ways. If you can't mold a player don't expect one already molded.
